Steve Almond Lands His Whale

Steve Almond has finally published his first novel, All the Secrets of the World, after 30 years of trial and error. The world has bestowed him plenty of success and acclaim as a book author and short story writer, including the New York Times bestselling nonfiction titles Candyfreak and Against Football, but until now, the novel form has eluded him. Almond talked with me from his home in Massachusetts about what finally landed him the great white whale of a published novel.
